SUNBOARD also known as foam board, is a strong, lightweight and easily cut which is widely used as mounting board to paste vinyl prints, as well as frame backing and also for direct printing purposes. Sunboard is commonly used in India and around the world for large- format printing and store branding.

Typically, photos or creative designs are first printed on self-adhesive vinyl, which is then mounted onto the Sunboard. The mounted Sunboard can be affixed to walls, pillars, or other flat surfaces using either double-sided adhesive tapes or nails, depending on the surface requirements.

A more modern approach is to print directly onto the Sunboard using a UV flatbed printing machine. UV- printed Sunboard offers greater durability and is free from peeling issues, making it a preferred choice for long-lasting applications.
